Quality combined with cost effectiveness is essential for technical and economic/ market acceptance of any form of processed rubber, both within the country and abroad.  The Rubber Board has a separate Processing and Quality Control Division to provide technical advice to natural rubber processors. It is  involved in the technical, economic, quality control and standardization aspects of rubber processed in the country.  Quality aspects of all the forms of NR (like Ribbed Smoked Sheets, Technically Specified Rubber, Latex Concentrate, Crepe rubber, PLC and Skim Rubber etc.) produced in our country is being attended by that Division.
